HelloWoofy recently encountered connectivity issues with Instagram Business accounts due to updates made by Facebook to their API. To reconnect your account, HelloWoofy now requires Facebook Page access tokens.
Why Page Access?
These tokens grant HelloWoofy secure access through your Facebook Page, which acts as a bridge to your connected Instagram Business account. This ensures a smooth and secure connection between the two platforms.
Checking Your Admin Status
Before we proceed, it's important to confirm that you have admin rights to the Facebook Page linked to your Instagram Business account. Here's how to check:
- Log in to Facebook.
- Click your profile picture in the top right corner.
- Select "See all profiles" and choose the Facebook Page you want to manage.
- Click your Page's profile picture in the top right corner to go to your Page.
- Click "Manage," then select "Page Access" on the left under "Your Tools."
Resolving Admin Rights Issue
If your profile doesn't show on the "People with Facebook access", you'll need to be invited as an admin on the Facebook Page. This will allow HelloWoofy to successfully re-authenticate and reconnect your accounts.
